Responsibilities:
You lead the purchasing team both professionally and organisationally.
You derive the procurement strategy from production requirements.
You regularly evaluate, develop and negotiate with suppliers.
You manage orders and ensure material availability.
You negotiate prices and conditions with existing and new suppliers.
You analyse and prioritise purchasing needs based on production planning.
You independently review and negotiate contracts.
You continuously monitor cost developments and savings potentials.
Qualifications:
Completed technical or commercial apprenticeship with technical further education.
Several years of experience in operational purchasing in a technical or industrial company.
Solid practical experience in strategic purchasing and supplier management.
Experience in professional or disciplinary leadership of employees.
Very good knowledge of SAP and MS Office, especially Excel.
Confident negotiation skills and convincing communication.
Experience with price, contract and condition negotiations.
Very good German and good English skills.
