About the job
To strengthen our angiological team, we are looking for a committed individual with enthusiasm for modern vascular medicine. We cover the entire spectrum of university-level angiology. As part of the Heart and Vascular Centre at the University Hospital Bern, we work closely in well-established, interdisciplinary structures with angiology, vascular surgery, cardiac surgery, and cardiology. Interventionally, we offer all angiological vascular procedures in a 24-hour service.
What to expect
- Patient-centred, independent angiological care in both outpatient and inpatient settings, as well as close collaboration with interdisciplinary partners, internal and external referrers
- Supervision and training of our assistant doctors and students
- Management of the angiological outpatient clinic
- Participation in specialised clinics (e.g. phlebology, vascular malformations, microcirculation, male health, prevention, diabetic foot clinic)
- Involvement in clinical and, depending on interest, translational research projects as well as teaching
Your profile
- MEBEKO recognition of the medical diploma including SIWF-recognised specialist title in angiology with several years of professional experience
- Very good German skills (C1), additional national languages are an advantage
- Broad clinical experience in angiology and confidence in diagnostic examination techniques
- Experience in minimally invasive phlebology and/or arterial interventions is an advantage
- High patient orientation, service understanding, and team spirit
- Interest in interdisciplinary collaboration and in further developing clinical focal points, as well as motivation for academic work (teaching and research)
