Qualifications and Characteristics
- Completed commercial or logistics basic training with further education as a process specialist, process technician, purchasing specialist or supply chain manager
- At least two years of professional experience
- Good user knowledge of MS Office, high IT affinity and ideally experience with SAP
- Negotiation-level German skills (at least C1) and good English skills (at least B1)
- Structured and solution-oriented working style with clear goal and result focus
- Clear, target-group appropriate communication as well as independent, methodical planning and implementation
- Willingness to travel (max. 20%) and a valid category B driving licence
About the Job
In this position, you ensure the availability of materials along the SIGA supply chain. Your area of responsibility extends from suppliers through production to the central warehouse.
You are responsible for the procurement of raw materials, merchandise as well as auxiliary and operating materials and ensure a smooth material and information flow along the entire value chain.
In doing so, you monitor deadlines and delivery reliability, ensure demand-oriented and timely material availability and initiate appropriate measures in case of deviations. You also take on project tasks and work closely with internal interfaces to coordinate cross-departmental processes and implement sustainable improvements.
Together with your team, you continuously develop procurement and logistics processes. By targeted optimisation of inventories, delivery performance and efficiency, you make a significant contribution to the performance of the entire value chain.
