Senior Physician Consultation for Functional Neurological Disorders

Limited to 2 years with option for extension

The University Clinic for Neurology is the largest neurological clinic in Switzerland and offers high-quality treatment both in basic neurological care and in highly specialised medicine. In the consultation specialising in functional neurological disorders, patients are cared for and treated interdisciplinarily and multimodally in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

What to expect

• Independent care of outpatients and inpatients with functional neurological disorders
• Interdisciplinary collaboration within the psychosomatic treatment team
• Participation in the on-call service of the Clinic for Psychosomatics

What you bring

• FMH specialist title in Neurology or equivalent
• Interdisciplinary focus in Psychosocial and Psychosomatic Medicine SAPPM or interest in acquiring this; alternatively specialist title in Psychosomatics and/or Psychiatry and Psychotherapy
• Independent working style and ability to work in a team
• Very good German skills in spoken and written form, ideally also good oral French skills, further foreign language skills advantageous
