You will shape safe and reliable rail infrastructure with direct impact for customers. You can expect a varied environment in the civil engineering team of Romandie, where collaboration and knowledge transfer are lived daily. In the first two years, you will receive in-depth rail-specific training and continuously develop yourself. Currently, two positions are open in Renens. One with a focus on the line in Valais including Upper Valais. The second with a focus on the Jura Neuchâtel line. What you can achieve.

• As a project manager, you oversee a portfolio of multidisciplinary projects and manage civil engineering structures from preliminary study to commissioning.
• You take overall responsibility for the projects and ensure compliance with costs, deadlines, quality, and safety.
• You coordinate internal specialists as well as external contractors and stakeholders and ensure an efficient interface with rail operations.
• You take control and validation of designs as well as the dimensioning of load-bearing structures and conduct internal expert assessments if necessary.
• Depending on the dossier, you take overall responsibility for construction execution and represent the projects in committees or external bodies.

What you bring with you.

• With your proactive and initiative-driven working style, you lead interdisciplinary teams and convince diverse stakeholders.
• In challenging project situations, you solve problems in a structured manner and communicate clearly and appropriately for the audience.
• You bring several years of professional experience, for example from planning offices, construction management, or project leadership, and initial experience in rail project management is an advantage.
• You have solid technical knowledge in calculation, planning, and execution of load-bearing structures, for example with experience in reinforced concrete and metal construction.
• You have completed training as a civil engineer at ETH, FH, or an equivalent qualification and use French and German at B2 level in everyday professional life.
