An innovative software company is developing a modern, future-oriented specialised solution and is seeking an experienced individual to actively shape the development of a scalable software architecture. The focus is on cross-domain services, microservice architectures, and the development of sustainable technical solutions for complex software platforms.

As part of the architecture team, you will work closely with development, business analysis, and customers, influencing the technical direction of a new product generation.

Your Responsibilities

Responsibility for the architecture and further development of central cross-platform and basic services
Development of architectural concepts and technical solution designs for complex business requirements
Supporting development teams in implementing architectural guidelines and best practices
Collaborating within the architecture team on cross-domain architecture and technology decisions
Developing rough concepts and technical solution strategies for new requirements
Contributing to customer-specific solution designs and technical bidding processes
Close cooperation with business analysis, software engineering, and other stakeholders
Continuous development of the existing architecture as well as evaluation of new technologies and architectural approaches

Our Requirements

Several years of experience as a Solution Architect or Software Architect in complex software projects
Solid knowledge in the design and operation of modern microservice architectures
Ideally experience with DevOps principles and modern software development processes
Very good knowledge of Java, Kafka, REST, as well as modern frontend technologies (e.g. Angular or comparable frameworks)
Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style
Communicative personality with high initiative and strong team orientation
Completed studies in computer science or a comparable qualification
Very good German and English skills
