Payroll Specialist 80-100% (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF95,000 - 115,000Role:
For a leading Swiss corporate group in the building materials and building envelope sector in the Zug region, we are looking for an experienced individual with solid expertise in payroll processing and Swiss social security. The company operates nationwide with various entities and locations and has a correspondingly diverse payroll landscape. The central company headquarters is located in Steinhausen.
In this role, you will ensure correct and timely payroll processing together with the payroll team. In addition to the operational daily payroll business, you will deal with social insurances, withholding taxes, time management, and year-end tasks, while also contributing to the further digitalisation and standardisation of processes. The current payroll environment primarily uses SwissSalary, MS Dynamics F&O and TimeAs.

Responsibilities:
You support the monthly payroll processing for several entities and ensure correct and timely accounting.
Entries and exits, salary changes, allowances, deductions and other payroll-relevant mutations are reliably processed by you.
You handle all matters relating to AHV, IV, EO, ALV, BVG, UVG and daily sickness benefits.
You prepare and check withholding tax statements taking into account cantonal requirements.
You independently prepare year-end tasks including salary certificates and social insurance declarations.
You check data from time management and prepare it for payroll processing.
You are a competent contact person for employees and managers regarding questions about salary, social insurance and time management.
You support coordination between payroll and financial accounting and ensure comprehensible posting of payroll runs.
You manage authorities, insurance companies and other external parties on payroll-related issues.
You compile the necessary payroll documents and evaluations for internal and external audits.
You carefully maintain master data and systems and ensure high data quality.
You contribute your own improvement suggestions to the standardisation, digitalisation and automation of payroll processes. The group-wide payroll organisation currently places a strong focus on these topics.
Qualifications:
Commercial basic training with further education in payroll, social insurance or human resources
Several years of practical experience in Swiss payroll accounting
Solid knowledge of the Swiss social security system
Confidence in handling withholding tax, BVG and other payroll-relevant legal requirements
Experience with year-end processing and salary certificates
Experience in a corporate group or with multiple entities is particularly welcome
Experience with SwissSalary is a great advantage
Knowledge of MS Dynamics F&O or comparable HR/payroll systems is also welcome
Experience with time management systems is an advantage
High affinity for digitalisation, data quality and automated payroll processes
Very good German skills; French skills are particularly valuable in the existing payroll environment
Precise, discreet and reliable working style
Strong service orientation and enjoyment in collaborating with HR, finance and employees
