Technical Buyer (m/f/d)

The company offers professional products and solutions for various areas of craftsmanship and industry and supports its customers with a wide range of services as well as expert advice. Role:
For our ROCKEN partner, you will manage a dedicated product area in purchasing and control its procurement through international supply chains. In doing so, you combine assortment work, supplier management and the operational supply of the company.
Responsibilities:
Assess procurement sources and select suitable partners for the assortment
Continuously develop purchasing conditions with international manufacturers
Control goods requirements based on consumption, stock levels and economic guidelines
Examine products and market changes regarding their relevance to the assortment
Organise external manufacturing and assembly services
Handle quality deviations with suppliers and internal specialist departments
Coordinate technical and commercial requirements for new products
Professionally manage article data and ERP fundamentals
Ensure collaboration with logistics, product management and quality
Qualifications:
Commercial or technical apprenticeship with further training in purchasing
Experience in a procurement-related role with a technical product environment
Practical experience dealing with international suppliers
Interest in technical connection solutions and their applications
Good negotiation and communication skills
Confident handling of ERP systems
Very good German and business fluent English
Structured and independent working style
