As a System Engineer Cloud & Infrastructure, you are responsible for the reliable operation, further development, and optimisation of modern IT infrastructures. You manage versatile on-premise and cloud environments, ensure secure and stable operation of servers, networks, clients, and IT services, and actively contribute to the implementation of technical solutions and infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities:
Operation, administration, and further development of modern server, network, and cloud infrastructures
Ensuring high system availability, performance, and operational stability
Analysis and sustainable resolution of complex faults in 2nd and 3rd level support
Responsibility for backup and restore processes as well as implementation of IT security measures
Administration and further development of Microsoft infrastructures with Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
Support and optimisation of network components such as switches, firewalls, and WLAN
Participation in IT projects, evaluation of new technologies, and further development of the IT architecture
Qualifications:
Completed training or degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification
Several years of experience as a system engineer in the operation and engineering of modern IT infrastructures
Sound knowledge of Microsoft technologies, servers, networks, cloud, virtualisation, and IT security
Experience with monitoring, backup, lifecycle management, and stable IT operational processes
Knowledge in the administration of complex infrastructure environments and technical platforms
