Backend Software Engineer (m/f/d)
With more than twenty years of experience in the telecommunications industry, this ROCKEN partner has achieved significant success and steady growth, expanding its global customer base year after year. Our ROCKEN partner offers all services required for setting up international roaming between two mobile network operators.
Responsibilities:
Development of scalable backend services for data-intensive applications and distributed systems.
Implementation of requirements throughout the entire software lifecycle – from design and architecture to testing and operation.
Development of robust APIs and services with Java, Spring Boot and modern backend architectures.
Processing large volumes of data and integration of databases, messaging, and streaming systems.
Ensuring code quality through automated tests, code reviews, documentation, and continuous optimisation.
Qualifications:
Education or degree in computer science, data science, or a related technical field.
Several years of experience in backend development with Java and object-oriented software development.
Good knowledge of Spring Boot, REST APIs, as well as relational or NoSQL databases.
Experience with JUnit and automated testing; knowledge of Kafka, MongoDB, or Apache Flink is a plus.
Analytical, independent working style with interest in scalable systems, data processing, and modern software architectures; good English skills.
