Housekeeper (M/F/D) on a permanent contract at 80% at EPSM Le Pré-Carré

The Saphir Foundation, a multi-mission and multi-site foundation (psychogeriatrics, geriatrics, adult psychiatry), is active in the medico-social field in the canton of Vaud and in the reception and support of people weakened in their physical and mental integrity during their life process.

To complete our housekeeping team, we are looking for the following profile for our establishment in Corcelles-sur-Chavornay, which accommodates 18 people and specialises in adult psychiatry:

Whatever their role, the professionals of the Saphir Foundation share a common goal: to support the people daily to enable them to concretely experience the institutional service strategy of "like at home". That is to say, to preserve their habits as much as possible, to offer a response adapted to their wishes and, through genuine interprofessional collaboration, to ensure the well-being and happiness of the people.

Your main workplace is located in Corcelles-sur-Chavornay, within EPSM Le Pré-Carré. Depending on needs and service organisation, you may occasionally be required to work at our second establishment located in Hermenches.

You contribute to the well-being of the people by ensuring a warm, clean and safe environment. You carry out all tasks related to the maintenance and cleaning of living spaces, as well as laundry management. You also participate in meal preparation, dishwashing and the organisation of various events at the establishment.

In a "like at home" approach, you are in daily contact with the people and participate in their support in collaboration with the interprofessional team. You also contribute to the integration of new professionals, apprentices and trainees in the housekeeping service.

YOUR BACKGROUND - YOUR QUALITIES AND SKILLS

• You hold a driving licence and have a vehicle.
• You have experience in cleaning, housekeeping or maintenance.
• You appreciate the variety of tasks and contact with people.
• You have a welcoming manner and good interpersonal skills.
• Experience in the social or psychiatric field is an asset.
• You enjoy teamwork and promote quality communication.
• You have adaptability and your interventions are focused on the well-being of the people.
• You are proficient in spoken and written French as well as common computer tools.
