Media Technologist in Printing

About the job

In our three-shift operation, you are responsible for the production processes in newspaper printing as well as the efficient use of the available resources and systems in the newspaper production environment.

What we offer

• You take over the machine operation of the KBA Commander 6/2 printing press, monitor and control print quality, and set up and dismantle the printing press.

• In addition, you are responsible for cleaning and maintenance tasks that arise in the operation.

• You continuously monitor work progress control including structured, timely feedback and regularly work in digital printing plate exposure (CTP).

What we are looking for

• You have completed vocational training as a media technologist in printing with a performance certificate.

• You have demonstrated resilience and independence in your previous tasks.

• You understand how to analyse complex issues, approach problem-solving purposefully, and assert yourself.

• You enjoy working in a team and can communicate clearly in German for internal purposes.
