The Medical Clinic cares for around 5,000 inpatients every year. Our oncological ward with 12 beds is an important part of the Medical Clinic and is certified by the German Cancer Society (DKG) as part of the Thurgau Tumour Centre.

To strengthen our team on the oncological ward, we are looking for a
Dipl. Nurse HF/FH
You will take on
- Responsibility for the professional, holistic care and support of our oncological patients and their relatives
- Implementation of the nursing process from admission to discharge in the sense of primary nursing
- Support and assistance for patients and relatives in coping with the diverse symptoms and effects of their illness
- Administration of antitumour and supportive therapies according to applicable quality standards
- Conducting nursing assessments for symptom control
- Patient education and counselling on therapy and side effect management
- Promotion and supervision of students and trainees
- Goal- and solution-oriented collaboration within the interprofessional treatment team
You bring with you
- Basic training as a qualified nurse HF/FH and professional experience in an acute hospital
- Ideally experience in the care and support of oncological patients
- High professional and social competence in dealing with oncological patients and their relatives
- Strong sense of responsibility, professionalism, flexibility and independence to adapt to rapidly changing situations
- Process- and solution-oriented thinking and reflective, reliable action for a committed, well-coordinated treatment team
