MES Specialist (m/f/d)
The ROCKEN partner is the Swiss market leader in kitchen furniture production and manufactures up to 100 kitchens per day with great passion and the latest technologies. Role:
A versatile IT position offers the opportunity to actively further develop digital solutions in the production environment. We are looking for a person with technical understanding and interest in the connection of manufacturing processes, applications, and data.
As a central interface between specialist departments and IT, you will accompany the further development of the MES, analyse requirements, and ensure reliable operation. At the same time, you identify improvement potentials and thus contribute to the further digitalisation of production.
Responsibilities:
Support and technical operation of an MES platform and its interfaces
Analysis and implementation of requirements from production and adjacent specialist departments
Optimisation of applications, data structures, and digital production processes
Coordination with internal IT departments, specialist departments, software suppliers, and external partners
Accompanying system changes, releases, tests, and technical approvals
Supporting users and key users as well as handling support cases up to 3rd-level support
Qualifications:
Completed training or degree in business informatics, process engineering, wood technology, or a related field
Experience in application management, preferably related to MES or industrial production environments
Understanding of manufacturing processes, system landscapes, and technical data flows
Experience in process analysis and translating technical requirements into sustainable solutions
Independent, structured, and analytical working style with a high quality standard
Strong communication skills, team spirit, and very good German language skills
