Logistics Coordinator

On behalf of our client, a company recognised in the distribution of specialised products for professionals, we are looking for a Logistics Coordinator

Reporting to the Platform Manager, you act as a true operational support and actively participate in the smooth daily running of the warehouse. A hands-on, versatile and evolving role, progressively offering more responsibilities.

Your responsibilities

• Assist the Platform Manager in the daily management of the warehouse
• Organise and coordinate the activities of the teams on site
• Supervise the operations of receiving, storage, preparation and shipping
• Organise inventories and ensure stock monitoring
• Manage the control of expiry dates and product traceability
• Ensure compliance with procedures and safety instructions
• Write, deploy and improve logistics procedures
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and propose optimisation actions
• Contribute to solving operational issues
• Cover for the Platform Manager in their absence
• Gradually become the ERP referent for the platform
• In the medium term, be trained in delivery and route management

Your profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in logistics, supply chain or a similar field
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in logistics in Switzerland
• Good command of IT tools, especially ERP and Excel
• Rigorous, organised and pedagogical mindset
• Enjoy working on site and able to work independently
• Experience in continuous improvement / Lean is an asset
• Forklift licence or authorisation to operate machinery: a plus
