MAIN TASKS

This position offers you the opportunity to apply and further develop your expertise in simulations. In addition to complex structural mechanical and fluid dynamic issues, you will work on innovative preliminary development projects and be responsible for physical simulation scopes in the field of structural mechanics and fluid dynamics. This particularly includes the following activities:

• Supporting product development/maintenance with validated simulation methods
• Advising production plants and sales companies on structural mechanical and fluid dynamic issues
• Leading innovative preliminary development projects
• Automating simulation activities
• Collaborating with external partners as well as supervising interns and master’s students

PROFILE

You have a university degree (preferably a doctorate) in physics, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or a comparable field. In addition, you are characterised by the following qualities and skills:

• Extensive professional experience in virtual development (Ansys Mechanical, Ansys Fluent, Ansys CFX)
• Proficient in Python, Linux, HPC
• In-depth experience in experimental methodology and data analysis
• Team player with enthusiasm for interdisciplinary collaboration
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
