"The Centre for Addiction Disorders is part of the Clinic for Adult Psychiatry and Psychotherapy of the PDAG (Clinic Director Prof. Dr. med. Marc Walter) and is jointly led by PD Dr. med. Eva-Maria Pichler, Chief Physician, and Michael Geissberger, Head of Nursing. It treats people with addiction disorders including psychological secondary and accompanying illnesses, especially dual diagnoses, and covers the spectrum from harm reduction to abstinence-oriented treatment. At the main site in Windisch, three specialised wards with different treatment focuses and day hospital places are available. Also in Windisch, the centre conducts substitution-supported treatment as well as heroin-assisted treatment for people with opioid dependence. At the locations Aarau, Baden and Windisch, it offers outpatient addiction medical assessments, treatments and specialist consultations, also for behavioural addictions. Participation in ongoing clinical research projects is possible and supported. The centre is an SIWF-recognised training centre for the focus Psychiatry and Psychotherapy of Addiction Disorders, category A, inpatient and outpatient (2 years for the focus, 1 additional year creditable towards the specialist medical title)."
Profile
- Qualified nurse (HF/FH); preferably with professional experience in (acute) psychiatry and ideally with initial experience in the addiction field
- You are an enthusiastic professional with high professional, social and self-competence and interested in actively further developing the treatment concept with us
- You have a resource- and solution-oriented understanding of nursing
Tasks
- You care for, accompany and support people with a dual diagnosis within the framework of key worker duties and ensure the implementation of the treatment concept
- You competently implement the nursing process and nursing interventions in crisis and intensive care
- You see yourself as part of an interprofessional treatment team with responsibility for the optimal implementation of the concept as well as the PDAG mission statement
- You share responsibility for the training of nursing apprentices
