Triage Cyber Security Analyst 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

As a Triage Cyber Security Analyst, you are the first line of defence against cyber threats. You analyse and assess incoming security incidents, prioritise them according to severity, and forward them to the appropriate teams. You monitor security tools and SIEM systems, detect anomalies in network traffic, and carry out initial incident response measures. You document all incidents carefully and contribute to the continuous improvement of security processes.

What do I need to be successful?

• Completed studies in computer science, IT security, or a comparable qualification

• Initial experience in the field of cyber security, ideally in a SOC or security operations team

• Basic knowledge of SIEM tools (e.g. Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel) and security monitoring

• Understanding of network protocols, firewall technologies, and common attack vectors

• Knowledge in analysing logs and security events

• Willingness to work shifts and be on call

• Analytical thinking and a structured way of working

• Good German and English skills, both spoken and written

• Teamwork skills and strong communication abilities
