Technical Field Service Mechanical Engineering (m/f/d)
Role:
In this role, you personally and by phone advise a demanding clientele from the metalworking industry. You identify individual requirements, derive suitable solutions from them, and implement these purposefully into existing processes. You have an innovative portfolio of products available in the areas of milling, turning, drilling as well as digital applications and complementary services. You are responsible for precisely linking technical possibilities with the needs of the customers. In this way, you actively create sustainable added value in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
You advise customers on-site regarding technical solutions and provide individual and competent support
In this role, you present tools directly to customers and determine optimal cutting data
You perform service tasks as well as field tests of new tools and cutting materials in use
As a technical sales specialist in field service, you train both customers and internal staff
You maintain long-term customer relationships through intensive support and targeted project assistance
At trade fairs and customer events, you represent the company and convincingly present product solutions
Qualifications:
- You have completed technical training, for example as a polymechanic, cutting machine operator, or toolmaker
- You have solid practical experience in machining technology or in the field of tool application
- You are proficient in metalworking and handling CNC machines
- Your communicative nature and sales flair make customer interaction easy for you
- You work independently and in a structured manner to pursue your tasks purposefully
- You have a good command of German, both spoken and written, and hold a category B driving licence
