In the Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy (Clinic Director Dr med Angelo Bernardon), children and adolescents up to the age of 18 are treated. The integrated treatment offering of the clinic includes an outpatient area with a central outpatient clinic as well as four outpatient clinics distributed across the canton, a consultation and liaison service, and an inpatient area with an acute ward, two psychotherapy wards, a day clinic and a clinic school. The teams consist of clinical professionals from the fields of medicine, psychology, nursing and social pedagogy, and in the clinic school, teachers and special needs educators. The Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy is a teaching hospital of the University of Zurich and a certified training centre Category A.

Profile

• You have a specialist title in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy FMH or an equivalent training recognised by MEBEKO and corresponding professional experience
• You enjoy leading interdisciplinary teams, have leadership experience and ideally have further training in this area
• You possess empathy and assertiveness and are characterised by self-competence, resilience and very good communication skills and manners
• You act in a patient- and team-oriented manner and even in complex situations, thanks to your analytical and human skills, you keep an overview and remain capable of action

Tasks

• As centre management, you take on the overall personnel and professional leadership and ensure the organisation and development of the services
• You represent the institutional topics from the centre within the clinic management and support the further development of the overall clinic's offerings
• You participate in specialist committees, projects and working groups of the PDAG and help shape public relations in collaboration with the clinic management
• In cooperation with the members of the clinic management, you are responsible for achieving quality and performance targets
• You participate in the clinic's training programme and the student course according to the requirements as a teaching hospital and the criteria as a Category A training centre
• You take part in the specialist on-call service of the CAP
