As an IT Network Engineer, you ensure a secure, high-performance, and future-oriented network and security infrastructure. You contribute your technical know-how to varied projects, further develop modern network environments, and make an important contribution to stable and secure IT operations.
Responsibilities:
You operate and optimise around 350 SD networks in the data centre and access area as well as next-generation firewall clusters and the MPLS network.
You handle complex issues in 2nd level network support and assist internal customers with questions regarding network and network security.
You plan and implement the segmentation of services, apply firewall rules, and continuously develop the zero-trust architecture.
You develop innovative network and security concepts and contribute your expertise to exciting infrastructure and customer projects.
Qualifications:
You have a qualification in computer science or a comparable technical qualification as well as a Cisco CCNP certification.
You bring several years of experience in network and network security – especially in the areas of firewall, VPN, LAN, WLAN, DNS/DHCP, IP/MPLS, identity services, and 802.1X/MAB.
You are interested in modern network technologies and want to develop professionally in the field of network security.
You hold a category B driving licence and are willing to regularly perform on-call duty.
You have very good German language skills in spoken and written form.
