For our Clinic for Hand and Plastic Surgery, we are seeking from 1 October 2026 a specialist in hand surgery (Switzerland) or a surgical specialist with additional qualification in hand surgery as a senior physician.
Our team covers the entire spectrum of hand surgical care, including replantations, as a European accredited "Hand Trauma and Replantation Center" of the FESSH. The clinic management currently consists of a clinic director/chief physician, a deputy chief physician for Plastic Surgery, and a deputy chief physician for Hand Surgery/Head of Hand Surgery. The hand surgery team consists of 3 senior physicians and 2 assistant doctors in training. Together with the Plastic Surgery team, it also includes a rotation assistant and 5 clinical specialists.

Your tasks
- You participate in the on-call duties for hand and plastic surgery as part of the team
- In addition, you make an important contribution to training and supervise our assistant doctors during operations and consultations as well as during internal training events
- Furthermore, you develop a specialisation within hand surgery for yourself and the clinic
Your profile
- You have completed training as a specialist in hand surgery or are about to obtain it, or you hold a specialist title in Plastic Surgery or Orthopaedics/Traumatology and have a strong interest in hand surgery with the corresponding additional qualification
- You have relevant experience in the entire field of hand surgery, including replantation, and meet the requirements and duties of a senior physician or wish to take on these responsibilities with increasing experience and suitability, with corresponding promotion prospects
- You are a team player, open to new challenges, and possess a high sense of responsibility
- Willingness to work interdisciplinarily and interest in further training are natural for you
