The city police, with over 250 employees, is committed to a safe and trustworthy Winterthur. To complement our Legal & Compliance department, we are looking for a motivated lawyer starting 1 January 2027 or by arrangement.

Legal & Compliance Specialist (80-100 %)

Your Tasks

• Handling legal issues in the areas of administrative, criminal, and civil law (clarifying specific technical questions, advising corps members on legal matters, drafting and reviewing contracts, etc.)
• Contributing to the development of legal bases and the processing of political proposals
• Handling complaint cases
• Active management and updating of internal compliance
• Legal support of projects

Your Profile

• Completed law degree (MLaw, lic.iur)
• Professional experience, preferably in public administration. Good knowledge of administrative law and political processes
• Ideally experience in the professional support and drafting of legislation and revision projects
• Integrity, flexibility, and resilience
• High social competence as well as solution-oriented, holistic thinking and acting
