As a machine operator, you will be part of a well-coordinated team where you support each other and jointly ensure that our plants and machines run reliably. With your technical expertise, you contribute to the production of our rail technology products in the required quality, thus making an important contribution to smooth rail traffic in Switzerland. You can expect a varied working day on conventional, semi-automatic and automatic CNC rail processing machines, and at the same time you have the opportunity to learn new things and develop both professionally and personally. What you can achieve.

• Through your systematic approach, you carry out demanding tasks on the CNC rail processing machines.
• You manufacture rail technology products and are responsible for their inspection.
• With your expertise, you take care of the maintenance of the plants.
• You independently carry out minor repair work on the plants.
• Within the team, you contribute economical solutions and improvement proposals as part of the continuous improvement process (CIP).

What you bring with you.

• You enjoy working in a team and at the same time complete your tasks independently and reliably.
• As an open, flexible and proactive personality, you are ready to continuously develop yourself.
• Occasional Saturday shifts and occasional shift work do not bother you.
• You have completed basic vocational training with a Federal VET Diploma (EFZ) as an automation technician, polymechanic or production mechanic and ideally bring some professional experience in the relevant field.
• You are proficient with common MS Office programmes and SAP and have good German language skills at level B2, both spoken and written.
