IT System Engineer wanted! (m/f/d)
Our ROCKEN partner is the leading energy service company in Switzerland for end consumers in the field of permanent energy management (energy procurement, energy data management and billing). It is independent of suppliers, producers and distribution network operators.
Role:
In this role, you will shape a modern, secure and cloud-based IT landscape and contribute significantly to the further development of a hybrid infrastructure. You will take responsibility for the stability, security and future viability of the systems and effectively bring in your experience, ideas and passion for current technologies. You will work in an environment with a lot of flexibility, short decision-making paths and an open informal culture. You will benefit from genuine scope for design as well as development opportunities and make a tangible contribution to a meaningful task through your work.
Responsibilities:
Technical co-design and modernisation of a hybrid platform landscape with a focus on cloud, connectivity, servers and central workplace services
Ensuring robust and protected IT services through continuous improvement of infrastructure, backup and security concepts
Handling complex system and network issues and deriving sustainable technical improvements from ongoing operations
Managing and implementing IT projects from technical conception to the introduction of new solutions and standards
Qualifications:
Solid technical background in computer science and ideally further qualifications in infrastructure or systems
Practical experience with hybrid Microsoft environments and a good understanding of the interplay between cloud, network, servers and security
Ability to assess complex technical contexts holistically and develop pragmatic, sustainable solutions
Independent and solution-oriented working style with a high willingness to learn; experience in coordinating IT projects is a plus
