Recognised and essential for over 40 years, Multi Personnel is an agency specialising in the provision of administrative and executive staff, temporary and permanent, in numerous economic sectors such as banking, financial companies, multinationals, NGOs, SMEs and local institutions. We wish to recruit an Industrial Buyer FR/DE 100% (M/F)

Mission:

• Analyse supply needs, initiate consultations and calls for tenders, then negotiate prices and commercial terms.
• Identify, select and develop new suppliers while ensuring monitoring and evaluation of their performance.
• Maintain trusting relationships with strategic suppliers.
• Monitor market and cost developments to identify optimisation and cost reduction opportunities.
• Draft, negotiate and follow up supplier contracts.
• Establish and analyse purchase-related reports.
• Manage supplier non-conformities and implement necessary corrective actions.

Profile

• Holder of a commercial employee CFC, training in purchasing or an equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience of at least 5 years in the metal industry sector.
• Good knowledge of German (or Swiss German) and excellent command of French.
• Comfortable in a bilingual environment and in dealings with German-speaking suppliers.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical and communication skills.
• Rigorous, organised and autonomous person.
• Solution-oriented mindset and sense of priorities.
