What you achieve

• You check outpatient cost approvals and medical expense invoices for their medical causality and ensure compliance with the applicable tariff bases.
• You work closely with our internal medical specialists as well as with doctors, hospitals and social insurance providers and carry out additional administrative and medical clarifications if necessary.
• You assess and check invoices, approve them or reject them in a comprehensible and justified manner.
• You advise and support our internal specialist departments as well as service providers on tariff and case-independent questions.
• You process enquiries from social insurance providers, for example in connection with repayments.

What you bring

• You have a completed paramedical training (EFZ), e.g. as a medical practice assistant, health specialist, druggist or pharmaceutical assistant. Otherwise, you have a commercial training (EFZ) with experience in the processing of personal insurance (UVG/KVG).
• You are familiar with tariff systems and enjoy exchanging ideas with different specialist departments and stakeholders.
• Several years of professional experience in health or accident insurance is an advantage.
• You communicate confidently in German. Good spoken French or Italian skills are a plus.
• You work independently and convince with your assertiveness and solution-oriented approach.
