A Physiotherapist - 50%

The Rive-Neuve Foundation is a specialised hospital recognised as a centre of expertise in palliative care in Blonay. In a pleasant and dynamic working environment, we welcome patients and their relatives for hospital stays who require specialised palliative care support. To complete our teams, we are recruiting:

Main activities

Your activities and responsibilities will be to:

• Provide care in accordance with the values and objectives of the institution
• Plan and organise individualised physiotherapy care (mobilisation, respiratory, rehabilitation...) to meet the complex needs of patients in acute palliative care
• Ensure continuity of physiotherapy care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Identify the patient’s resources and determine their specific needs and objectives within your field of intervention
• Evaluate the achievement of objectives set with the patient
• Work closely with doctors, rigorously applying medical physiotherapy orders
• Choose and use relevant and validated assessment techniques and tools
• Adapt and provide physiotherapy care according to the patient’s clinical progress
• Ensure billing and record your activity in the electronic patient record

Profile

The required qualifications are:

• Holder of a Bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy or an equivalent qualification
• At least 2 years of professional experience
• Experience in acute care or palliative care is a strong asset
• Good command of computer tools (Microsoft Office, Soarian...)
• Listening, observation and communication skills
• Adaptability, flexibility and availability
• Interest in institutional life
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a good team spirit
• Ability to question care from an ethical perspective
• Fluency in French
