Role:

Between patient admission, service recording, and medical documentation, there is a lot of technology involved. Here, as a Medical Application Manager, you take responsibility for the clinical information system (CIS) throughout its entire lifecycle. Stability in ongoing operations is your goal, and you actively shape its further development. Those who like to get to the bottom of causes while keeping the people in the hospital daily routine in mind will find a role here with tangible impact.

Responsibilities:

• You ensure the availability and performance of the system in clinical operations and continuously develop configuration, modules, and functions.

• You systematically investigate faults in 2nd-level support, evaluate logs and data flows, and coordinate complex cases with the manufacturer.

• Furthermore, you monitor interfaces to the laboratory, ERP, radiology, and other specialised applications and clarify technical dependencies.

• You carefully plan patches, releases, and rollouts, from system tests to controlled commissioning.

• Additionally, you gather requirements from medicine and administration, convert them into change requests, and implement them with suppliers.

• You also lead technical sub-projects, work closely with key users, and keep the documentation in Confluence up to date.

Qualifications:

• Several years of experience in application operation of a clinical information system or a comparable healthcare solution distinguish you.

• You have studied computer science or business informatics at HF/FH level or have acquired a similar profile by other means.

• You understand clinical processes such as patient administration and medical documentation as well as the technology behind them.

• Experience with clinical interfaces and standards such as HL7 is a clear advantage, as is routine in release, problem, and change processes.

• Furthermore, you think in networks and keep an overview even with dependencies between databases, infrastructure, and surrounding systems.

• You communicate confidently in German, easily converse in English, and work solution-oriented with external partners.
