As a lecturer in mathematics didactics in the Kindergarten/Lower Primary degree programme, you will in particular take on the following tasks:
- You design and conduct subject-specific and subject-didactic courses on mathematical learning in Cycle 1.
- You combine mathematics didactic expertise with development-oriented approaches and bring this perspective into interdisciplinary courses.
- You collaborate with colleagues from different fields in the coherent further development of teaching and the Kindergarten/Lower Primary degree programme.
- You participate in the development, testing and evaluation of teaching concepts and degree programme elements.
- Depending on your profile, you take on tasks in practical professional studies, continuing education and transfer, or in research and development projects.
Your profile:
- Master’s degree in Mathematics/Mathematics Didactics or comparable qualification
- Doctorate desirable
- Proven expertise in mathematical learning and teaching, preferably with reference to Cycle 1
- Teaching diploma and teaching experience in kindergarten or primary school or a comparable school-practical qualification
- Experience in higher education didactics or willingness to acquire the corresponding qualification
- Ability to combine subject-specific, development-oriented and transversal perspectives
- Experience or proven willingness for interdisciplinary and cross-sector collaboration
- Interest in joint curriculum, teaching and quality development
- Reflective, committed and team-oriented working style.
