About the job
WE ARE LOOKING FOR
immediately or by arrangement a
Network Administrator 80-100%
You have completed your training in computer science, gained initial practical experience in network operations – and know that there is still a lot between theory and lived operation that you only learn through real responsibility. That is exactly what we offer you.
In our network team, you are the first point of contact for the daily operation of our network infrastructure. You ensure that disruptions are not simply escalated, but understood, prioritized and – where possible – resolved directly. This means: You work close to the infrastructure, know the systems and know where to look first when something is wrong.
You are not left on your own. You work closely with experienced network engineers who actively share their knowledge. We believe that good teams are there for each other – not only when there is a fire. Over time, you will take on increasing independent responsibility for sub-areas, be involved in projects and develop in an environment that demands and promotes real depth.
If you want to do more than just close tickets, but really understand infrastructure – then you fit with us.
What awaits you
- Operation and monitoring of our network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, VLAN)
- Detection, analysis and resolution of disruptions as the first point of contact in the team
- Collaboration in configuration and maintenance of network hardware and firewall systems
- Troubleshooting in the area of network services – including DNS, DHCP, NPS and related server components on Linux and Windows systems
- Documentation of processes, configurations and changes
- Support in the implementation of network projects together with the team
- Taking on partial responsibilities and independently handling changes
We expect from you
- Completed training in computer science (EFZ) or comparable qualification
- Initial practical experience in the network area (approx. 1–2 years, e.g. through apprenticeship and/or first professional experience)
- Basic knowledge of network technologies such as LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN and VLAN
- First experience with network hardware and monitoring tools is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of network-related server services on Linux and Windows – especially DNS, DHCP and NPS – for targeted troubleshooting in operation
- Structured, solution-oriented working method and genuine curiosity to understand things rather than just fix them
- Teamwork skills and willingness to pitch in during operations when needed
- Very good German skills, English is an advantage
- Knowledge of cloud networks or automation is a plus – not a must
We offer
- An exciting IT environment with people who want to make a difference
- Great freedom of design in your own specialist area
- Individuality, a lot of responsibility and room for initiative
- Flexible working hours and hybrid working models
- Free choice of personal work device (Win, Linux, MacOS)
- Family-like and motivated team
- Opportunities to develop further within the team
- Individual, targeted training
- Workplace close to the center
- In-house fitness studio and relaxation room
- Internal cafeteria with excellent catering from Felfel and various free drinks
- No mainstream solutions, but innovative approaches
