The University Psychiatric Centre (UPZ) Bern offers diverse and responsible tasks in acute psychiatry on the Beyeler and Streit wards. In a dynamic environment, you accompany patients with various clinical pictures. The work is oriented towards a person-centred, recovery-oriented mission statement and combines a comprehensive range of non-pharmacological interventions to support the self-efficacy of patients. As an additional night watch, you support the professional care of our patients during the night together with the qualified nursing staff. Additionally, you take on the defined tasks within the framework of the fire protection project. Your tasks
- You support patients with psychiatric conditions in their needs during the night.
- You take on 1:1 care tasks if required.
- Additionally, you undertake cleaning and logistics tasks for the nursing team.
- You conduct cross-ward control rounds to ensure the safe maintenance of operations.
- You are responsible for tasks related to fire prevention.
Your profile
- You have completed training as a Health and Social Assistant EBA or SRK Nursing Assistant and already have initial professional experience.
- You possess strong professional, social, and self-competence.
- You communicate clearly and empathetically and have high social competence.
- You are a reliable and responsible personality.
- You have good knowledge of German.
- You are interested in fire prevention measures.
