Role:
For a nationwide fiduciary and consulting company, we are looking for a motivated junior professional at the Zurich location who wishes to develop both professionally and personally. The company specialises in supporting SMEs from the gastronomy and hospitality sectors and combines comprehensive fiduciary services with sound industry knowledge and modern digital solutions. Around 170 employees work at various locations across Switzerland for the clientele.
In this varied position, you will be gradually introduced to the independent management of client mandates. You will work closely with experienced mandate managers, take on increasing responsibility and receive a clear perspective to develop into a mandate manager in the long term.

Responsibilities:
You support the mandate managers in managing a diverse SME client portfolio.
You increasingly carry out ongoing financial accounting independently and ensure correct processing of business transactions.
You prepare interim and annual financial statements and take on additional closing tasks with growing experience.
You prepare VAT returns on time and clarify any discrepancies.
You actively participate in payroll accounting, social security declarations and year-end processing.
You prepare tax returns for natural and legal persons and gradually handle them independently.
You maintain direct contact with clients and answer initial accounting and administrative questions.
You prepare financial analyses and industry-specific key figures in an understandable manner.
You actively contribute to the digitalisation of accounting processes and the use of Abacus-based solutions.
With increasing experience, you take on your own mandates and develop into a competent advisor. The company uses Abacus, AbaWeb, AbaScan and AbaNinja for digital financial and payroll processes.
Qualifications:
Completed commercial basic training, ideally in a fiduciary company
Initial professional experience in the fiduciary sector, finance and accounting or a comparable function
Ongoing or planned further education in fiduciary or finance and accounting
Basic knowledge of financial accounting, VAT and ideally payroll administration
Interest in long-term development towards independent mandate management
Enjoyment of digital work processes; knowledge of Abacus is an advantage
Very good German language skills in spoken and written form
Precise, structured and reliable working style
Open-minded and service-oriented personality with enjoyment of customer contact
Interest in the economic particularities of gastronomy, hospitality and SME businesses
