For a production and innovation environment, we are looking for an experienced Packaging & Manufacturing Engineer who acts as the technical interface between Research & Development and manufacturing. In this role, you are responsible for the successful industrialisation of new products and technologies and ensure that these are transferred into production efficiently, with high quality, and economically.

Job Description
- Management of industrialisation and commercialisation projects for new products and technologies from the development phase to market launch
- Development and implementation of validation strategies (IQ/OQ/PQ) as well as ensuring production release
- Conducting technical risk analyses (FMEA) and deriving appropriate measures to minimise risks
- Definition, optimisation and further development of manufacturing processes, production equipment and product specifications
- Assessment of manufacturability, production capacities and costs of new products
- Close collaboration with R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, Operations and other departments
- Support of stage-gate processes and technical project decisions
- Initiation and implementation of lean manufacturing, automation and continuous improvement projects
- Analysis of relevant performance indicators and continuous improvement of quality, efficiency and time-to-market
- Representation of the production site in strategic production and allocation decisions
Profile
- Completed degree in Engineering, Packaging Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a comparable field
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a manufacturing industrial environment
- Experience in the FMCG, consumer goods, cosmetics, pharmaceutical or food industry
- Solid knowledge in Packaging Engineering, Process Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering
- Experience with product industrialisation, process validation and production ramp-ups
- Know-how in lean manufacturing, continuous improvement and process optimisation
- Knowledge of FMEA, risk analyses and structured problem-solving methods
- Experience working with interdisciplinary teams and international stakeholders
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
