Head of Production (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Department management: Operational and strategic leadership of the production and work preparation (AVOR) areas at the site
• Process & capacity control: Ongoing review and demand-oriented adjustment of production capacities to global customer demand
• Schedule & cost assurance: Ensuring timely production and delivery of sophisticated pressure vessels and complex assemblies as well as continuous reduction of production costs considering the total cost of ownership approach
• Quality & compliance: Consistent adherence to relevant international quality and regulatory standards (e.g. pressure equipment directives) in close cooperation with internal interfaces
• Continuous improvement & synergies: Initiation and management of continuous improvement projects (CIP) in cooperation with development/design and utilisation of international site synergies

Your profile:

• Education: Technical basic training in manufacturing (e.g. in mechanical or metal engineering), supplemented by an engineering degree or specialisation in mechanical engineering, manufacturing technology or production management
• Welding expertise: Solid know-how and practical experience in welding technology (ideally in stainless steel or pressure vessel construction) for competent control of sophisticated joining processes
• Leadership experience: Proven practice in leading production teams as well as sound knowledge in production planning and AVOR (experience with the manufacture of pressure equipment is an advantage)
• Working style: Consistently aligned with strategic corporate goals, strong assertiveness, organisational talent and a high "sense of urgency" for time-critical issues
• Languages: Fluent German and very good English skills (at least B1) for international collaboration
