jobgate ag is a personnel services company based in Aarau, specialising in the placement and leasing of skilled personnel in the fields of mechanics, engineering, IT, commercial professions, logistics, timber construction, chemistry and the construction ancillary trades.
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a CNC Milling Machine Operator (a) to start immediately or by arrangement.
Responsibilities / Main Tasks
- Operation of a CNC milling machine for machining large turbine and generator shafts (with Siemens 840C control)
- Monitoring the production process
- Independently recognising and resolving malfunctions - informing the responsible supervisor if necessary
- Maintenance and control of the tool inventory to ensure a smooth workflow
- Independent execution of quality checks (visual & dimensional)
- Documentation of test results according to specifications
- Use of equipment and machines to optimally support production
- Early preparation of subsequent production orders
- Recording and feedback of completed work steps in the SAP system
- Carrying out special tasks and special orders by agreement
Qualifications / Requirements
- Completed apprenticeship as a polymechanic with a federal certificate of competence (EFZ)
- Several years of professional experience as a CNC milling machine operator
- Willingness to work in a 3-shift system
- Very good German language skills, spoken and written
- Good IT skills (MS Office, SAP)
- Independent and reliable working style
- Flexible and team-oriented personality with a strong sense of responsibility and initiative
- Good physical condition
