For our ROCKEN partner, a cantonal financial administration located in Zurich, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for an experienced, team-oriented, and service-minded specialist to further develop the group-wide controlling processes and systems. The newly formed Financial Management Control department as of 1 January 2027 prepares the canton’s budget and financial planning and leads cross-directorate projects to further develop financial processes and systems. You will take responsibility for the processes to harmonise and automate financial planning processes.
Responsibilities:
You take process responsibility for the cantonal controlling processes to further develop, especially harmonise and automate financial planning processes
You advise other administrative units in designing controlling processes and take on project management or work in interdisciplinary project teams
You work closely with the professional and technical SAP CO application managers in controlling projects
You contribute to the preparation of the canton’s financial plan and support the SAP applications
You prepare various chapters of the annual report (e.g. "Finance at a Glance")
You answer specific questions about the state budget based on evaluations from SAP or Business Warehouse (BW)
You prepare information for the Finance Director
You develop proposals for the cantonal government regarding the canton’s financial planning
Qualifications:
You have a university or university of applied sciences degree at master’s level (business administration or economics) and several years of proven relevant professional experience in group controlling
You bring solid know-how in the SAP and Business Warehouse environment; SAC knowledge is an advantage
You demonstrate excellent analytical and conceptual skills, precise working methods, and strong editorial skills to present complex matters clearly
You work solution-oriented with other administrative units
You are open to change and new substantive challenges
Knowledge of the HERMES project methodology is an advantage
