Are you looking for a key position where you can combine strategic thinking with operational drive? Our client offers you the chance to manage the entire warehouse and transport logistics at a state-of-the-art production and bottling site. Here you will be responsible for a motivated team and optimise processes according to the latest standards.
Your new tasks:
- Leadership & Development: You lead and motivate your warehouse team, create efficient shift and deployment plans (including third parties) and promote a strong safety and continuous improvement culture (CIP).
- Operational Excellence: You manage the daily distribution activities (goods receipt, storage, picking, shipping and delivery) and ensure on-time deliveries.
- Resource & Budget Responsibility: You manage the warehouse facilities and consumables and ensure budget compliance.
- Process Optimisation & Analysis: You analyse transport and logistics data, identify cost-saving potentials and provide valuable insights for strategic projects (e.g. freight tendering).
- Interface Management: You work closely with purchasing, customer service as well as external logistics partners (3PL) and authorities.
Qualifications
Your "secret ingredients"
- Education: A successfully completed degree focusing on logistics, supply chain management, business administration or a comparable higher education.
- Experience: At least 3 years of solid professional experience in logistics or warehouse environment, ideally with proven leadership experience.
- IT & System Skills: Very good knowledge of SAP and MS Office as well as a strong affinity for numbers and systems.
- Know-how: A good understanding of labour law (for shift planning) as well as modern warehouse processes.
- Personality: Assertiveness, high resilience, strong conflict resolution skills and a structured, independent working style.
- Languages: Fluent German (working language) and good English skills (corporate language).
