Machine Maintenance Technician (m/f/d)
Our client is an internationally active Swiss industrial company in mechanical engineering. The company develops and produces high-quality technical solutions and places great emphasis on quality, innovation, and reliable customer support.
Responsibilities:
Technical support worldwide: You are the first point of contact for the maintenance and repair of our machines directly on site with our customers, with a focus on Europe.
Troubleshooting and repair: You analyse technical faults, carry out precise repairs, and develop individual solutions to get the machines operational again as quickly as possible.
Installation and commissioning: You install new machines and carry out commissioning to ensure a smooth start to the production process at the customer’s site.
Customer training and consulting: You explain our technologies to our customers, train them in handling the machines, and ensure they are able to achieve maximum performance.
Sale of service packages: You take care of the sale of additional service packages, offer customised solutions, and ensure long-term customer loyalty.
Technical support: You provide round-the-clock support via telephone hotlines and ensure that spare parts are available quickly.
Qualifications:
Technical training: You have an electrical engineering education, ideally as an automation technician, mechatronics technician, or electronics technician, and bring experience in machine maintenance.
Experience in control technology: You are familiar with PLC programming, drive and control technology, and ideally have already worked with Siemens SINUMERIK 840D.
Practical machine knowledge: Your interest in mechanical work helps you to always find a solution even for more complex repairs.
Professional competence and accuracy: You pay attention to the highest precision, have a strong quality awareness, and always follow safety-related regulations.
Communication skills: You speak fluent German and English (any additional language is an advantage) and know how to convey complex technical information clearly and understandably.
