Role:
You develop and program sophisticated PLC controls for modern heat pump, air conditioning and refrigeration systems and ensure reliable integration of visualisation and bus communication. You work closely with project planning, service and the PLC software team and accompany your solutions through to successful commissioning at the customer. Additionally, you contribute your expertise to the further development of software standards, innovative concepts and internal training.
Responsibilities:
Programming of PLC controls with CODESYS 3.5, including visualisation and bus communication
Development, maintenance and further development of modular software libraries
Implementation of modern software architectures for automated systems
Creation and ongoing maintenance of technical documentation
Close collaboration with PLC software development, project planning and service
Commissioning of sophisticated heat pump, air conditioning and refrigeration systems
Execution of customer deployments and technical support assignments throughout Switzerland
Support of sales in developing innovative software concepts
Conducting internal training and passing on your expertise to employees
Analysis and optimisation of existing control and automation solutions
Qualifications:
Completed training as an automation technician or further education as a HF technician in automation
Practical experience in PLC programming, ideally with CODESYS 3.5
Very good knowledge of Structured Text (ST) according to IEC 61131
Understanding of modern software architectures and ideally experience with object-oriented programming (OOP)
Interest in building automation, air conditioning, refrigeration and heat pump technology
Independent, structured and reliable working style
Analytical thinking and enjoyment of technically demanding tasks
Willingness to undertake customer assignments within Switzerland
Fluent German language skills spoken and written
