Role:
As part of our engineering team, you will play a central role in the technological development and optimisation of our production systems. You combine practical process engineering with innovative spirit to make production processes more efficient, stable, and sustainable. You will work closely with various departments and actively shape the future of our manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
Design, analysis, and optimisation of production processes and technical operations
Support of development and investment projects in the area of extrusion and compounding
Conducting process trials to improve material properties and energy efficiency
Technical supervision of scale-up projects and transition to series production
Development and implementation of optimisation strategies to increase plant availability
Preparation of technical documentation, evaluations, and reports for management and production
Coordination with internal interfaces - especially production, maintenance, and quality
Training and technical support of employees in the area of plant and process engineering
Qualifications:
Completed degree or higher vocational training in process engineering, plastics engineering, mechanical engineering or related disciplines
Practical professional experience in extrusion, compounding or plastics processing
Sound knowledge of process control, material behaviour and plant technology
Experience in planning, conducting and evaluating technical trials
Analytical thinking, systematic approach and strong problem-solving skills
Independent, precise and committed working style
Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration and technical challenges
Fluent German language skills
