Role:
In this role, as Senior System Engineer ERP, you will shape the further development and stable operation of demanding ERP systems. You take technical responsibility for the architecture, installation, configuration, and optimisation of the ERP infrastructure. You analyse complex requirements, derive sustainable solutions, and implement them efficiently. Additionally, you coordinate releases and updates, ensure performance, security, and availability, and maintain thorough documentation. Through your expert knowledge, you support internal stakeholders and contribute significantly to the continuous improvement of the ERP system landscape.
Responsibilities:
Operate, optimise, and support Windows and optionally Linux servers in 2nd/3rd level support
Administer and maintain MSSQL and optionally PostgreSQL databases in the ERP environment
Automate server landscapes with PowerShell, MECM, and standardised deployment processes
Further develop infrastructure concepts with Kubernetes, security, monitoring, and backup solutions
Lead technical small projects and coordinate stakeholders as well as cybersecurity teams
Qualifications:
Education/training in computer science (HF/FH) or equivalent experience in system engineering
Several years of experience with Microsoft, ERP, and complex enterprise infrastructures
Very good knowledge of Windows Server, IIS, MSSQL, AD, GPO, MDE, and DNS/DHCP
Experience with PowerShell, MECM, firewalls, proxy, software distribution, and backup solutions
Very good German and good English skills as well as a structured, security-conscious working style
