Dipl. Expert in Intensive Care NDS HF with Additional Function in Specialist Responsibility
The specialist responsibility IPS acts as a link between clinical practice, professional development and management. It contributes to ensuring high-quality, evidence-based intensive care and supports the further development of structures, processes and nursing competencies.
You will take on:
- Comprehensive, evidence-based and high-quality care and nursing of patients requiring intensive care
- Professional support and advice to relatives in challenging situations
- Assuming the role of shift leader as well as active participation in the three-shift operation
- Professional support of the nursing team in the nursing treatment process of patients and their relatives
- Support in the implementation, introduction and continuous development of instruments to ensure nursing and medical quality
- Support in the introduction and evaluation of nursing concepts and standards
- Active participation in clinical improvement and innovation processes within the framework of projects
- Committed, appreciative and interprofessional collaboration within the treatment team
You bring with you:
- Diploma as Expert in Intensive Care NDS HF or equivalent recognised qualification
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing FH or equivalent degree is a plus
- Several years of professional experience in an intensive care unit of a Swiss acute hospital
- Strong professional, communicative and social skills
- Great interest in innovation, quality development and clinical process design
- Good digital skills and confident handling of clinical information systems
- High personal responsibility, resilience and decision-making ability
