Metal Construction Draughtsperson (M/F)

Our client is a dynamic family business located in the Geneva region, renowned for its rigour, expertise, and quality of services. To strengthen its design office, we are looking for a passionate and meticulous Metal Construction Draughtsperson.

Your tasks and responsibilities: Reporting directly to the head of the design office and working closely with project managers, your main duties will be as follows:

• Design and modelling: Complete development of principle plans, execution/workshop plans, and assembly plans.
• Technical support: Regular exchanges with project managers for analysis, discussion, and resolution of complex technical details on ongoing projects.
• Revision files & Follow-up: Preparation, updating, and finalisation of "As-Built" files (revision files) as well as rigorous monitoring of project archiving.
• Deadline management: Planning and adjusting priorities according to the progress of construction sites and managing unforeseen events.

Profile sought:

• Education: Holder of a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a draughtsperson in metal construction (or equivalent qualification).
• Experience: At least 3 years of proven experience in a similar position in Switzerland, ideally within a general company or a metal construction/locksmith workshop.
• Technical skills: Advanced proficiency in CAD software (notably Solidworks and/or AutoCAD 2D).
• Personal qualities: High precision, rigour, and organisational skills. Excellent adaptability and flexibility in response to schedule changes or site emergencies. Strong team spirit and ease in communication to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
