Senior SPA Business Development Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our SPA team as the Senior SPA Business Development Manager for L'Occitane en Provence.
As part of the Global Spa Department, your core mission is to drive the commercial development and operational excellence of our spa network worldwide, while ensuring the highest standards of client experience and brand consistency at every touchpoint. With strong commercial expertise and a passion for delivering exceptional service, you act as the strategic link between the brand and our SPA partners, ensuring that each location reflects the full value of our offer "” not just in revenue performance, but in guest satisfaction, execution precision, and brand excellence.
Location: Plan-Les-Ouates (near Geneva).
Reporting to: SPA Director
Key Responsibilities:
1/ International SPA business development
- Set business development plans and cultivate strategic Spa partnerships in 5* hotels
- Partner with local affiliates/distributors, including Business Owners, General Managers, marketing teams, sales teams, training teams, etc., in constructing the Spa business concept, merchandising, pricing, communication and forecast plans.
- Prospect hotels and present wellness solutions tailor-made to targeted hotels.
- Provide constructive strategy and solutions to increase and maintain sales growth.
- Ensure complete international support in deployment
- Contract negotiation
- Provide guidelines and strategy on price settings at Spa to ensure competitiveness
2/ Project Management and account management
- Maintain account relationship, bring update and solutions to challenges
- Coordinate with local affiliates/ distributors in supporting Spa business partners, act as mediator in case of complications
- Lead new opening preparation with transversal team centrally and locally (i.e. deploying concept, merchandising, communications plans)
- Track revenue, client data and KPIs
- Assist markets in budget preparation, stock forecast, in coordination with Finance and supply chain, stock reports to adapt the offer to maximize sales and deplete inventory
- Arrange annual training schedule based on contract
- Reassure Spa assets deployment & update with partners: Menu and 360 assets.
- Responsible for corporate global accounts relationship & prospection with WW interface
3/ Management
- Manage Spa training team and Spa Trade Marketing leader in deploying operational support and cross-marketing collaborations with local markets and Spa partners while aligning with central strategy.
- Team development of Spa ambassadors
- Be the key reference of Spa business & prospection for local regions as part of central team
How you can fit:
- +8 years in senior account management or business development, ideally in wellness, hospitality, beauty industries, SPA or related sectors
- Proven experience in team management, mandatory
- Strong commercial & negotiation skills with the ability to develop strong relationships in an international context
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in English, French is a strong asset & any another additional language will be a plus
- Drive for excellence in execution and impact
- Passion for crafting inclusive team environments
- Resilient and positive in dynamic business settings
- Willing to travel (50%)
