IT System Engineer Microsoft & Cloud Infrastructure (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF110,000 - 130,000Role:
In this role, you actively shape a high-performance, secure, and future-proof IT infrastructure and consistently rethink existing systems. You take responsibility for the stable and secure operation of the IT landscape, including monitoring, optimisation, and securing critical components. You analyse security requirements, assess risks, and establish appropriate technical and organisational protective measures. Furthermore, you drive the continuous development of the IT infrastructure by evaluating new technologies, developing concepts, and managing their implementation. You always keep an overview of interrelations, dependencies, and impacts on performance and security.
Responsibilities:
You ensure the reliable operation of the IT infrastructure and continuously develop the Windows and Linux systems
You implement new cloud and on-premise solutions with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 from planning to execution
You independently or together with the team support migrations and infrastructure projects
You analyse complex faults and support operations in 2nd-/3rd-level support
Maintaining a clean documentation of your work is part of your professional approach
Qualifications:
Your completed IT training and experience in the infrastructure environment make you an ideal fit for this position
You are familiar with Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, Exchange, Microsoft 365, and virtualisation
You bring knowledge of VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox, network architectures, and cloud computing
You have a good understanding of IT security, EDR/XDR/MDR, backup, disaster recovery, and encryption
Very good German skills, both written and spoken, complete your profile
