Who are we?

VBI Ingénieurs SA is a civil engineering firm based in Cornaux, active in the fields of load-bearing structures, civil engineering works, and civil engineering.

As part of strengthening our team, we are looking for a civil engineer specialised in load-bearing structures, capable of independently managing projects from design to completion.

Your tasks

- Ensure the design, sizing, and monitoring of reinforced concrete load-bearing structure projects.

- Conduct static studies and sizing calculations in accordance with current Swiss standards.

- Manage projects through the various SIA phases, from preliminary design to execution.

- Coordinate studies with architects, clients, contractors, and other consultants.

- Supervise and coordinate the work of draftsmen.

- Ensure the technical follow-up of projects and provide solutions adapted to construction constraints.

- Participate in the preparation of bids and the development of the office's projects.

Your profile

Degree in civil engineering from EPF, HES, or equivalent training.

- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the field of structures, ideally gained in an engineering office in Switzerland.

- Good command of structural sizing and SIA standards.

- Proficiency in AxisVM software, or proven experience with equivalent tools.

- Ability to manage projects independently, with rigour and a sense of responsibility.

- Good communication, organisational skills, and teamwork abilities.

- Proficiency in French, both spoken and written.
