Senior Manager Group Accounting (m/f/d)
Role:
In this role, you actively shape the transformation towards a smarter and more sustainable energy world by leading consolidation and accounting at the group level. You are responsible for the precise preparation and analysis of financial data, thereby creating the basis for well-founded decisions in the digital energy age. With your high quality standards, you ensure that reporting and financial statements are provided transparently, correctly, and on time. You always keep an overview of complex interrelations and contribute to optimally using modern technologies and data analyses to steer the energy future.
Responsibilities:
You manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing and consolidation processes of all group companies
You are responsible for the preparation of consolidated and statutory annual financial statements as well as timely financial reporting
You ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, guidelines, and internal governance requirements
You coordinate intercompany reconciliations and ensure consistent reporting within the group
You are the central contact person for external auditors and accompany group-wide audits
You develop accounting policies, internal controls, as well as reporting and consolidation processes further
You lead and develop the accounting and consolidation team and drive automation and process optimisation forward
Qualifications:
You have a university degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration; CPA, ACCA or a Swiss expert qualification is an advantage
You bring at least 10 years of experience in accounting, consolidation, and reporting in an international environment
You possess sound knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP as well as experience with group financial statements and audits
You are proficient in using ERP and consolidation systems; experience with IBM Cognos is a great plus
You communicate fluently in English; German skills are an advantage
