Introduction
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a committed and empathetic individual as deputy ward manager for a modern dementia department. In this versatile role, you will support the ward manager in daily operations and share responsibility for the professional and organisational leadership of the team.
Tasks
- Supporting the ward manager in professional, organisational and personnel matters
- Shared responsibility for professional care and support of residents
- Supporting and accompanying the nursing team in daily routines
- Ensuring and further developing care quality
- Participating in direct care and taking responsibility in day-to-day business
- Collaboration with relatives, doctors and interdisciplinary specialist departments
Profile
- Training as a qualified nurse HF/FH or equivalent recognition
- Experience in dementia care or long-term care
- Initial leadership experience or interest in a leadership role
- Empathetic, resilient and responsible personality
- Enjoyment of teamwork and supporting colleagues
