Department Manager Fine Pastries

For our client in Lucerne, we are looking for a

Department Manager Fine Pastries (m/f/d) 100%

Your tasks:

• You lead the Fine Pastries department both professionally and personally and are responsible for a team of up to 15 employees.

• You plan, coordinate and monitor the daily production processes and ensure smooth operations.

• You ensure that our quality, hygiene and safety standards are always met.

• You actively participate in the production of our fine pastries and seasonal specialties and support your team operationally.

• You are responsible for the optimal deployment planning of personnel, machines and materials.

• You continuously develop processes, products and especially your team together with the production management.

• You promote a respectful, motivating and performance-oriented team culture.

Working hours

The operation runs seven days a week – and as a manager, you are right in the middle of it. Production takes place in shifts from 4:00 am until late afternoon. Weekend duties are regularly part of the job; however, within the operational requirements, you determine your deployment planning with a great deal of personal responsibility and flexibility.

You bring the following:

• You have completed training as a baker-confectioner EFZ or confectioner-confiseur EFZ, ideally supplemented by further training in leadership.

• You have already gained leadership experience and know how to support, motivate and develop employees.

• You think entrepreneurially, act solution-oriented and gladly take on responsibility.

• Continuous improvement of processes, quality and collaboration is a matter of course for you.

• You are a resilient, independent and flexible personality and keep an overview even in hectic situations.

• You create a positive working environment and maintain a respectful interaction with your employees.

• You have very good German language skills, both spoken and written.

• You have experience with ERP systems as well as a good understanding of key figures and production processes.
